A drop to one knee on the Front Lawn at sunset, a ring and a champagne toast in the Dining Room, a photographer on site to capture the moment – every proposal is as unique as each couple. Or create a cherished wedding memory that's crafted just for you and your closest circle, like exchanging vows in front of the lighthouse or standing at an overlook above Narragansett Bay.

Will there be other people nearby during my proposal?
Your reserved proposal location provides access only to the designated proposal area.
Are drones allowed?
No. To protect the privacy and experience of our guests, drones are not permitted for proposals.
When can I propose?
All proposals must be arranged and scheduled in advance. Walk-in proposals are not permitted.
Can I hire a professional photographer? May I choose my own?
Yes. You are welcome to hire a professional photographer of your choosing. Castle Hill Inn does not maintain exclusive partnerships with any photographers.
Do you offer proposal packages?
Yes, we currently offer the following proposal experiences:
Aurelia Package (Seasonal: May–September)
- Proposal at the East Lawn Overlook
- Dinner for two in Aurelia
- Commemorative gift
- A special culinary celebration element
East Lawn Overlook Package
- Reserved access to the East Lawn Overlook, featuring sweeping views of the Claiborne Pell Newport Bridge
- Bottle of Veuve Clicquot and artisan cheese board

- Optional add-on: $150 food & beverage credit at The Lawn Terrace
Elopement Package
You must have a confirmed overnight stay at Castle Hill Inn. Please call to reserve:
- Tasting Menu for 2
- Welcome amenity: Romance Amenity (chocolate covered strawberries); Bottle of Tattinger Champagne; Flowers (in-room arrangement, bouquet, boutonniere & small table arrangement for dinner)

Where can I propose?
Proposal experiences are available exclusively through reservation of one of our proposal packages, with access to our designated proposal location.
