Activities for House Guests

The following activities are available beginning Memorial Day Weekend and are offered weekly through Labor Day Weekend.

Meditation

Connect deep within yourself during a complimentary guided meditation session in the Castle Hill Secret Garden. This class allows for personal exploration, offering a blend of creativity and mindfulness. Your experienced guide will walk you through a harmonious mix of breathwork, movement and stillness, helping you cultivate inner peace. This approach encourages each student to connect with their unique journey, fostering balance and well-being in both body and mind. No reservation required.

Meet your guide in the Secret Garden, Saturdays at 10:00am

Yoga Sessions

Start your weekend off right. Yoga masters from local studio Thames Street Yoga will be your guides for the hour. Classes are available to guests only, every Saturday beginning Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. No reservation required.

Meet at the beach cabana, Saturdays at 9:00am.

Castle Hill Beach

Friendly castle-building competitions, sunbathing with a new book, roasting marshmallows in a crackling fire — summer's best memories are made on Castle Hill Inn’s private sandy beach. The beach is open year round, with special services available in summer months.

Beach attendants are available daily from 10:00am to 6:00pm, beginning Friday, May 1st through Monday, September 7th, and on weekends from September 11th through October 12th. Our dedicated team will thoughtfully prepare your seaside setting, providing chair covers, plush towels, and beach umbrellas for your comfort.

Castle Hill Lighthouse & Trails

A legacy in its own right, the Castle Hill Lighthouse continues to guide ships through the East Passage of Narragansett Bay — just as it has since 1890.

The site was originally owned by Alexander Agassiz, who sold his portion of land for just $1 to the U.S. government to build the lighthouse. It's now managed by the U.S. Coast Guard.
