In warmer months, alfresco dining is offered on our terraces overlooking the rolling lawn. As fall and winter approach, we offer the same casual, a la carte menu indoors in the comfort of the main Agassiz Mansion. What better way to enjoy the expansive sea views and serene setting of Castle Hill Inn than from an iconic Adirondack chair on the lawn? The Inn does not take reservations for the chairs, yet there is a capacity limit. Once that capacity is reached, new arriving guests will be directed to return at a later time or on another day. We expect this capacity to be reached frequently on weekends and advise guests to have backup plans before venturing this direction in a shared-car service or other transportation service.

Simply stroll up to the intimate Adirondack Bar for the refreshing cocktail of your choice, then return to the best seat on the lawn to relax in front of sparkling Narragansett Bay. It’s sheer summer bliss. The walk-up bar is open seasonally from 11:30 AM – 6:30 PM.

In the warm summer months, lunch on little gem Caesar salad with butter-fried croutons and classic New England lobster rolls. In the cooler season, indulge in a hearty kale and grain salad alongside chicken parmigiana with local mozzarella or seared salmon, cooked to perfection. Finish your meal with fresh sorbet or an apple blondie skillet with apple cider ice cream.
