Enjoy our afternoon tea service in the Chalet from 3:00–4:30 PM, only for overnight guests. Our culinary team will continue serving delicate bites and fine teas you know and love. While the space may look a little different, you can still expect the same warm hospitality and relaxing atmosphere.
We’re pleased to share that Castle Hill Inn will reopen today, welcoming registered overnight guests to our Beach Houses and Beach Cottages, with the Chalet serving as the heart of Inn operations.
Guests can enjoy a gourmet breakfast buffet, afternoon tea, evening light bites and cocktails, room service, private car transfers to downtown Newport dining, and access to The Retreat at Castle Hill by Farmaesthetics, now temporarily located on the Chalet’s upper level.
During this time, we will not be able to accommodate day visitors for drinks or dining, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to the Inn later this spring.
While we won’t host our traditional Easter celebrations this year, we’re delighted to celebrate Mother’s Day at @bohlinnewport from 11AM–3PM, bringing the warmth and hospitality of Castle Hill to one of Newport’s most iconic harborfront settings.

We are in the process of assessing the damage from last night`s fire. While significant, we are confident that we will restore Castle Hill and come back stronger. Our goal is to have the restaurant operational in the coming months in time for the season. The rooms and suites in the main inn will take more time, but the remaining rooms and suites in the Beach Houses, Beach Cottages, Harbor House, and Chalet and wedding venue are unharmed and hope to be open soon.
