CHILL AT CASTLE HILL – Meet us in the Secret Garden for a 45-60 minute meditation session. This class offers a blend of creativity, mindfulness, and allows for personal exploration. With years of experience in yoga and meditation, students are guided through a harmonious mix of breathwork, movement, and stillness, cultivating inner peace. The approach encourages each student to connect with their unique journey, fostering balance and well-being in both body and mind. This class is facilitated by Deidre or Sue. Yoga mats will be provided. Session begins at 10:00am.
BIRD WATCHING WITH THE NORMAN BIRD SANCTUARY – In partnership with the Norman Bird Sanctuary, join one of their naturalists for a guided walk across Castle Hill Inn’s 40 acres! During this one hour walk, you will take in the sights and natural residents of Castle Hill Inn! This is a great excuse to borrow a pair of our Swarovski Optik binoculars to enhance your adventure! See the front desk to borrow the binoculars. Meet your naturalist by the fireplace in the Agassiz Mansion at 10 am.
BEACH FIRE – Cozy up on our private beach for tasty S’mores at our waterside beach fire. Beach fires are held on Wednesdays throughout the summer and begin at dusk, weather permitting.

YOGA ON THE BEACH – Start your weekend off right. You are invited to relax and reconnect with a yoga session on our private beach. Yoga masters from local studio, Thames Street Yoga will be your guides for the hour. Meet at the beach cabana, Saturdays at 9:00am.
SUNDAY STARGAZING – Cozy up on our private beach for tasty S’mores and stargazing at our waterside beach fire. Local astronomer Scott Macneill will be on hand to help you explore the night sky. Beach fires are held on Sundays throughout the summer and begin at dusk, weather permitting.

Beach attendants will be available daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, beginning Friday, May 1st through Monday, September 7th, and on weekends from September 11th through October 12th. Our dedicated team will thoughtfully prepare your seaside setting, providing chair covers, plush towels, and beach umbrellas for your comfort.

Travel in effortless style aboard Mistress, Castle Hill Inn’s private water taxi, and experience Newport as it has been enjoyed for centuries. Since the founding of Newport in 1639, the harbor has served as a vital gateway for both commerce and leisure, an enduring tradition you are invited to share.
Gliding along the eastern shoreline of Narragansett Bay and Newport Harbor, Mistress offers a scenic voyage past iconic Gilded Age mansions, the esteemed New York Yacht Club, and Newport’s charming waterfront skyline. As a guest of the Inn, you are invited to journey aboard M/V Mistress, departing from the Castle Hill Marina with service to Ann Street Pier, followed by a brief stop at Perrotti Park, before returning to Castle Hill marina. Settle in, take in the views, and enjoy Newport from its most timeless vantage point—the water.
Each ride is $15 per adult; children 12 and under ride free with an adult. A round trip on this route will take approximately 90 minutes. Please schedule below:
