Castle Hill’s four refined dining rooms offer a choice of atmospheres. Each one is decorated in a distinct style, yet maintains the elegance of Alexander Agassiz’s original décor.
The Castle Hill Bar:
The bar, located off the Inn's main lobby, boasts suburb craftsmanship and age-old beauty. Carefully sculpted from regional hardwoods, the Castle Hill Bar is the perfect place to explore our world-class wine list and fine assortment of liquors.
The Ocean Room:
The former Drawing Room in the mansion is now the largest of our dining rooms. Distinct for its Butternut paneled walls, fireplace, hardwood floors and oriental rugs, this room is ideal for rehearsal dinners, small wedding receptions and private corporate gatherings.
The Agassiz Room:
Overlooking Narragansett Bay, this dining room offers a more intimate setting with a fireplace, oriental carpet and hardwood floors.
The Newport Room:
Similar to The Agassiz Room, the Newport Room is quaint: the perfect room for a small private gathering, with a view of the Bay.
The Sunset Room:
A pale blue ceiling and curved walls of windows give The Sunset Room the feeling of being on a ship’s bridge. With its grand view of the entrance to Narragansett Bay, it is the best location in Rhode Island to watch the sun descend over the horizon.
